 Background Information

ABC Muvuti Boys Secondary  School  is  established  on  a  10-acre  piece  of  land  located  in  Machakos  Sub-county, Machakos County. It is managed by a Board of Management (BoM), appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Science and Technology. The school was started in 1977 as a mixed secondary school by the community  and  is sponsored  by the African  Brotherhood  church  (ABC)  but  in  2014  the BoM  and the local stakeholders decided to split it into two schools; a girl’s school and a boy’s school gradually up to 2018.

Currently, the school is enjoying fairly improved infrastructure, though much requires to be done to modernize it and make the environment more conducive for learning. However, as a result of the expanded population, the physical facilities have been overstretched, hence the need to improve and expand the existing facilities.

The  school  has  been  keen  on  ensuring  that  the  academic  performance,  co-curricular  activities performance,  spiritual  nourishment  and  students  discipline  is  enhanced  to  make  it  competitive  in producing an all-round citizen.
